ASave as an Instasave Alternative: Features and Limits

Which service is this?
ASave is the service at asave.app. The word Instasave is used for other products and searches; this page does not claim ownership of those products or an affiliation with them. We have not tested every competing app.
If you only need to revisit a post, use Instagram's save/bookmark feature. If you need a file, first confirm that the rights holder and applicable platform terms allow the download.

How to test your own permitted post
Copy the full post URL, paste it in ASave, and select Preview. Confirm the thumbnail or video matches your post. Then use the file's Download control and check the saved file, not just the button response.
On iPhone, look in Safari's downloads and Files. On Android, look in your browser downloads or Files app. For a desktop browser, use its download list and configured destination folder.
Limits that matter before you choose
There is no unlimited access guarantee, private-account access, 4K upscaling or MP3 converter. A public post can still fail because of removal, access restrictions, rate limits or changes to Instagram.
Read the Privacy Policy before submitting a link. For a failed download, follow the troubleshooting checklist rather than repeatedly retrying the same restricted post.
