Does ASave Download Instagram Profile Pictures?
Profile pictures and photo posts are different inputs. ASave accepts individual post links, not usernames or profile-picture requests.
Current support
ASave does not provide a working profile-picture downloader. A username or instagram.com/username/ profile address is not a supported input. Switching tabs, passing a security check, or installing the site will not enable this feature.
Older versions of this page described a profile-picture tool. Those instructions were inaccurate for the current service and have been removed.
Check which photo you have
An individual photo post has a link containing /p/. It can contain one image or several carousel slides. Use the photo downloader for an accessible public post you own or have permission to save.
The circular avatar on a profile is not that post. ASave cannot turn a profile link into an avatar file or recover the uncropped original.
Backing up your own profile photo
Use the original image on your device or in your own photo backup when available. That preserves the source file instead of a platform-processed crop. For another person's image, ask the rights holder for the file and permission.
Do not provide a password, session cookie, or verification code to a site promising to unlock a profile photo. Public visibility is not a license to copy or reuse an image.
If you meant a post download
Open the actual post in Instagram, use its Share action to copy the link, and paste it into the photo tool. Check the preview before choosing Download. If the result contains multiple images, use the carousel guide.
